Victims Support
The Victim Support Officer works with members of the community and Victim Support groups to:
- Provide accurate information and advice to registered victims
- Let victims know about victim services provided by the Department of Corrective Services
- Assist victims in understanding the role of the Parole Board and Serious Offenders Review Council
- Provide assistance and support to victims in the preparations of submissions to the Board and Council
- Refer victims to other agencies for support
