Principal Advisor Psychology
The Principal Adviser, Psychology is responsible for the professional supervision of all psychologists practising in the Department through the seven Regional Senior Psychologists and three Statewide Clinical Coordinators (Violence Prevention Programmes, "at Risk Programmes and Sex offender Programmes).
The position provides advice to senior staff of the Department on effective deployment of staffing resources, programme design, range of services to be provided and standards for delivery of psychological services to offenders in custody and in the community.
The Principal Adviser represents the Department to external agencies on matters related to psychology and the practice of psychologists.
