The Complex is located off Holker Street, which is the main western distributor to the Homebush site. Depending on the direction you are travelling turn left or right off Silverwater Road and proceed to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left into the Complex entrance. Car parking is to your left, adjacent to the SHINE Cottage.
Visitor Information
Booking:
Legal visits during the week must be booked by fax on (02) 9748-4737 and all other bookings on (02) 9289-5657.
Visit times:
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 8:15am - 3:30pm.
Conditions:
No cigarettes, tobacco, lighters or matches allowed with visitors. $20 in change only.
All property must be placed in the lockers provided.
Standards of behaviour and dress apply to visitors and inmates. Rubber thongs are not permitted.
No food is permitted to be taken into the visiting area by visitors, with the exception of baby food/bottle with formula.
A children's play area is available but children must be supervised at all times.
When visiting please ensure you respect the rights of others.

Industries
- Engineering - The engineering workshop employs 50 inmates, which specializes in metal fabrication and the manufacture of a wide range of products to customer specification including laundry trolleys.
- Upholstery - The upholstery business unit employs 50 inmates and provides a refurbishing service as well as suppling new upholstered furniture to the hospitality industry.
- Food Services - The food services unit employs 75 inmates which provide over 30000 meals each week. The majority of meals are supplied to the Corrective Services NSW Centres throughout the state. Meals are prepared under HACCP accredited conditions to a master menu formulated by a qualified nutritionist.
- Technology - The most recently commissioned Business Unit which when fully operational will employ 30 inmates to assemble end to end computer cables for a private sector customer.
Education
The Adult Education and Vocational Training Institute (AVETI) provide "in-house" courses in adult Literacy and Numeracy, English as a Second Language, Communications, Computers, Job-seeking Skills and Small Business Management etc.
TAFE provides courses in Welding, Upholstery, Horticulture, Hospitality, First Aid, Forklift, Cleaning, Occupational Health and Safety etc.
Selected students are involved in distance or external education.
