Offender Policy
To ensure offender management reflects New South Wales Government policy, the Department's corporate goals, and is compliant with legislation, the Department has developed an Operations Procedures Manual (custodial) and the Community Offender Services Policy and Procedures Manual (community), which provides offender-related policy, procedure and service frameworks.
The Department has also developed specific policies and procedures relating to the management of offender from non-English speaking backgrounds to meet corporate objectives and legislative requirements.
Responsibility for the development and evaluation of offender operational policy and procedures lies with the Offender Policy Unit [Offender Management/Offender Policy/Offender Policy Unit].
