Department of Corrective Services Libraries (DOCLIS)
We operate two libraries. Each library has a specific subject specialisation.
- Contact the Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy Library for staff queries except for legal queries.
- Contact the Ron Woodham Library (MRRC) for legal queries and information requests for inmates.
To make use of many of the services DOCLIS offer, you need to become a registered user. Complete the online Library User Registration Form to register with the service.
Online Books & Catalogues
Online Books & Catalogues provides a list of free online books and online catalogues. The DOCLIS Catalogue can also be accessed from here.
Journals
Journals provide a list of both hard copy and online journals to registered DOCLIS users. Copies of articles from these journals may be requested from the Libraries using the Document Delivery Request Form.
Online Databases
Online Databases provide a list of of online databases to registered DOCLIS users. Subjects include: Australia, criminology, education, law, medicine, psychology and sociology.
Document Delivery
The library provides a document delivery service to registered DOCLIS users. So if can't get to our libraries, send us a Document Request and we will deliver it to you.
Literature Searching
If you are having a problem finding the information you require, the librarians will undertake literature searches for you on request. Please give them details of your request using the appropriate Literature Search Request Form on the Essential Forms site.
What's New
Keep up to date with the latest literature by subscribing to "What's New". This is a regular table of contents service delivered to your desktop at home or at work. You can subscribe to this service by contacting Toni Kennedy at the CSA Library, with details of your name, position and the email or other address you would like What's New to be sent to.
