Administration and Clerical Support Officer
Administrative and clerical support officer positions range from entry level Clerk General Scale to management positions at Clerk Grade 12 level and fall broadly into the following areas:
1. Customer service, e.g., cashiers, visit bookings and processing in correctional centres, clerical support in Community Offender Services district offices and Community Offender Support Centres (COSPs)
2. Head Office and regional offices, e.g., policy development, planning, administration, training, media and public relations
3. Specialised areas, e.g., Corrective Services Industries, Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy, finance, IC&T, human resources, legal services, asset management.
In some administrative/clerical positions, direct contact with offenders is part of the duties.
Administrative and clerical support services are available in the metropolitan, country and regional offices in a variety of settings in Corrective Services.


Successful applicants are expected to follow Corrective Services NSW policies and procedures and so contribute to the overall strategic objective of reducing re-offending in NSW.
