An Information Centre was opened in July 2008. It has a display room with a model, plans of the new correctional centre and DCS career information. It is located at Shop 3/98 Worrigee Street Nowra. The Information Centre is open to the general public Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm and the telephone number is (02) 4421 0933.
The Information Centre's primary role is to facilitate community consultation but also provide support for the operational planning and project management during the construction phase of the correctional centre. Toward the end of construction, the role of this office will involve commissioning of the Centre and the recruitment of over 200 staff.
